New York, NY — Comedian Rhapsody, a one-of-a-kind mix of stand-up and original comedy music show, comes to New York Comedy Club on Thursday, June 5 at 8PM.
Hosted by comedian, actor, and musician Avery Pearson (Dr. Phil Live, Netflix, ESPYs), Comedian Rhapsody is where stand-up meets music in a show like no other. Comics deliver quick, punchy sets, then join Avery to deliver a completely original song—premiered before your eyes. It’s clever, relatable, and wildly unique—an interactive comedy experience you’ll be singing all the way home.
After a soldout 8-year run in Los Angeles, this clever, relatable, and wildly unique show is coming to New York City. Comedian Rhapsody with Avery Pearson is a late night variety show featuring original comedy music. It premiered in September 2016 at The Hollywood Improv under the name The 88 Show with Avery Pearson and ran as a monthly sold out staple for eight years. It has been featured in festivals such as Netflix is a Joke in LA, Moontower in Austin, and TBS' NY Comedy Fest.
